Claire previously advised on audit and assurance policy for CPA Australia, having previously written auditing and assurance standards and guidance for the AUASB for longer than seems feasible. In her previous life Claire was a forensic accountant, which provides good dinner conversation when mention of audit makes eyes glaze over and arguably provides her with an edge on professional scepticism. Claire is interested in the future of audit and how it will evolve to stay relevant but is confident it will.
